Withdrawing From the CASPR Cycle
If you find that you have to withdraw from the CASPR cycle, please send an email
to the CASPR office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The email must include the following:
- A statement that you wish to withdraw from CASPR
- A request for the refund of fees paid
Refund of Fees
No refund of the basic application-processing fee will be made to any applicant
choosing non-participation in CASPR after October 25th, 2018 (notification of
withdrawal date received by CASPR). A $50.00 service charge will be deducted from the
refund of the Basic CASPR Fee for withdrawal prior to this date.
If you are automatically withdrawn in October due to non-passage of Boards Part
I: A $50.00 service charge will be deducted from the refund of the Basic
If you are automatically withdrawn in December for incomplete application after
the December 28th deadline: No refund of the Application fee.
If you are automatically withdrawn in March due to non-passage of Boards Part
II: No refund for any of the fees.
We will notify the students that are withdrawn from our system. You will
no longer have access to your account once we withdraw you.
Prior to October 25th: A full refund of the CRIP fee will be made
After October 25th: The CRIP fee will be refunded for the following
- None of your designated programs attended CRIP
- You did not schedule any CRIP interviews
- The only program(s) with whom you scheduled interviews withdrew from CRIP
A refund form will be available early November and on the "Ranking" tab in January. The deadline for CRIP scheduling
refund requests is January 25, 2019.
